Chitimacha tribal officials cut the ribbon Friday on their latest endeavor — a 102-room hotel located at Cypress Bayou Casino. The guest rooms include eight executive suites and two chairman’s suites along with a fitness center, executive board room and business center. From left are tribal Vice Chairman Jules Darden, Councilmember Bethany Darby, Secretary-Treasurer Jacqueline Junca and Chairman John Paul Darden.
