—Jessica S. Martin, 33, of Joey Street, Patterson, arrested on Sixth Street in Morgan City at 2:25 p.m. Friday on a warrant for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Agents located Martin and transported her to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. She was later released on a $50,000 bond. The arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation.
—Mark Turl, 36, of Jones Street, Napoleonville, arrested on La. 182 in Morgan City at 10:50 a.m. Friday for speeding and driving under suspension. Released on a summons to appear in court on Oct. 4.
—Joseph Bias, 55, of Guzzetta Drive, Berwick, arrested on South Railroad Avenue in Morgan City at 4:12 p.m. Friday for hit and run. He is alleged to have struck a vehicle while crossing the La. 182 bridge between Berwick and Morgan City. Issued a summons to appear in court on Oct. 4.
—Megan Falgout, 28, of Clements Lane, Morgan City, arrested at the Wal-Mart in Bayou Vista at 7:22 p.m. Friday for theft. According to store security, Falgout was observed placing items worth $4.77 in her purse and attempted to leave the store. Released on a summons to appear in court on Oct. 4.
—Olbin López, 30, of La. 182, Amelia, arrested on La. 182 in Amelia at 2:36 a.m. Saturday for reckless operation of a vehicle, operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the United States, and failure to provide proof of insurance. A deputy observed López do a donut in the parking lot of a local bar. He then left, travelling at a high speed. Incarcerated with bond set at $1,250.
—Jerry P. Mayon, 27, of Degravelle Road, Amelia, arrested at his home at 3:34 a.m. Sunday for domestic abuse battery. Booked and incarcerated with no bond yet set.
—Pamela J. Cain, 50, of Two Sisters Court, Bayou Vista, arrested at her home at 8:55 p.m. Sunday for disturbing the peace intoxicated, resisting an officer and battery of a police officer. During the investigation in response to a complaint of a disturbance and the subsequent arrest, Cain yelled profanities and kicked the deputy and the window of the patrol unit. Booked into parish jail with bond set at $2,250.
—Patti Sue Uriegas, 19, of Tut Street, Pierre Part, arrested at 10:27 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of a lounge in Amelia for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Released on a summons to appear in court on Oct. 4.
Several homes in the Bayou Vista area recently were egged. The first call to the sheriff’s office was made on July 16. Three suspects were developed and were arrested over the weekend on charges of simple criminal damage to property. Each was arrested and then released on a $500 bond.

The Patterson Police Department made the following arrests over the weekend, according to Chief Patrick M. LaSalle:
—Juan Ortíz, 34, of Washington Avenue, Mission, Texas, was arrested on Church Street near the Sonic at 9:50 p.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated first offense, improper lane usage, and talking on cell phone while driving. Remains incarcerated with no bond yet set.
—Arthur William Smith, 67, Willow Bend Lane, Patterson, arrested on Red Cypress Lane at 12:48 p.m. Friday for speeding and a suspended driver’s license. Remains incarcerated with a $466 bond.
—Kirt Glenn Favors, 40, of Cherry Street, Patterson, arrested on Cherry Street at 8:55 p.m. Saturday for improper acceleration and no driver’s license. Incarcerated with a $436 bond.
—Amanda Eues, 27, of Degravelle Street, Amelia, arrested in Berwick at 8:21 p.m. Friday for failure-to-appear warrant for switched license plate and a child restraint violation. Paid cash fine of $471.
—Harley Lee Hedgeman, 48, of Foxglove Drive, Patterson, arrested on U.S. 90 and Red Cypress Lane for improper U-turn and driving under suspension. Paid cash fine of $466.
—Clarence Woods Jr., 18, of Taft Street, Patterson, arrested at Club 360 on Martin Luther King Street at 12:30 a.m. Saturday for simple battery on a police officer and resisting an officer. Incarcerated with $980 bond.
The Morgan City Police Department made the following arrests overnight, according to Chief Marc Folse:
—Misael Garcia, 22, of Shaw Drive, Morgan City, arrested near the intersection of Federal Avenue and Marshall Street at 7:06 p.m. Friday for general speed law, driving too fast for conditions, and no driver’s license. Heavy rains were falling at the time of the infraction, and Garcia is alleged to have given a false name at first. Posted a preset bond of $451 and released.
—Elizabeth Ann Mast, 24, of Belle Alliance Street, Donaldsonville, arrested near the intersection of Victor II Boulevard and Kenneth Street at 11:51 p.m. Friday for driving while intoxicated second offense after blowing a .268 grams-percent on breath test. No bond information available.
—Carlos Johnson, 51, of Louisiana Street, Morgan City, arrested near the intersection of Fifth and Everett streets at 8:01 p.m. Saturday for simple battery. He struck Teligia Busby, who had blood running from her left eyebrow. They had argued on Freret Street. Incarcerated, then released on a preset bond of $695.
—Busby, 47, no street given, Morgan City, and Johnson were arrested at 10:22 p.m. Sunday at 811 N. Everett Street. Officers responded to a complaint about subjects possibly being in abandoned residence. Neither Busby nor Johnson were wearing clothes when officers located them inside the residence. They were allowed to get dressed and said that they did not know who owned the residence.
—Jerald Lee Stansbury, 35, of St. Antoine Street, Lafayette, arrested at Guarisco’s MC Grill at 3:44 a.m. Sunday. There was a large crowd outside with a fight occurring with plenty of yelling. Stansbury is alleged to have punched a female in the side of the face and thrown another female to the ground. Released on a preset bond of $695.
