Courtney R. Darce of Bayou Vista recently joined the staff of The Daily Review as professional photographer.

Darce graduated summa cum laude from Berwick High School in 2008, then studied visual arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for two years.

Darce is now near completion of her degree from The New York Institute of Photography in professional photography and is eager to explore related venues with what they have to offer.

She also recently married in April and is excited in her role as a new wife. She loves to be with her husband, Edward Darce Jr., and family in addition to practicing her love for the arts/photography.

“We are glad to welcome Courtney to our staff,” Managing Editor Mack Spencer said. “We know she will be a valuable asset and look forward to working with her.”
