During the thunderstorms that took place Friday, the weather conditions contributed to an accident on Hwy. 90 westbound involving two vehicles. The injured were taken to Teche Regional Medical Center via Acadian Ambulance before most fire crews and city personnel arrived on the crash site. The exact details of impact are still unclear, however the crash took place near the Holiday Inn in Morgan City, and one of the vehicles was overturned when city police and fire crews arrived. Here, city officials work together to push the dilapidated vehicle back on the ground.
