St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Kathleen Waltman, 40, of 4140 Pharr St., Berwick, was arrested Tuesday at 9:48 a.m. on a charge of resisting an officer by flight. No bond was set.

Ebony M. Charles, 21, of Shriever, was arrested Tuesday at 4:17 p.m. on a charge of criminal trespassing. Charles reportedly tried to steal an air conditioner unit from Walmart in Bayou Vista, then fled from the store, leaving her wallet behind. She later contacted the sheriff’s office to retrieve the wallet and was arrested. She was released on a summons.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported the arrest of Murray Bridget Jr., 34, of 110B Martin Luther King St., Patterson, Tuesday at 6:22 p.m. on warrants charging him with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule I narcotics with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of a drug free zone and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Terrance Miquel Ballet Jr., 18, of Bud Street, Franklin, Tuesday at 5:18 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. He was released on $500 bond.

Darren J. Rideaux, 35, of Myra Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 9:52 a.m. on a charge of issuing worthless checks. He was released on a summons.
