The unveiling of the 2012 Shrimp and Petroleum Festival poster took place Wednesday at the festival office in Morgan City. The artist, Zoe Puryear of Beauregard Parish and a student at Southwest Louisiana Technical Community College in Lake Charles, designed the poster as part of a class project. At the unveiling were Puryear; 2011 queen Ally Landry; Morgan City Mayor Tim Matte; festival board Chairman Greg Price; festival President Nathalie Weber; Morgan City Councilman Larry Bergeron; festival board members Nelson Cortez, Jackie Brown and Rodney Grow; festival board Secretary Peggy Acosta; and Gray Little, SOWELA department chair and instructor.
