Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012, at 1 p.m., at Jeanerette Full Gospel Church in Sorrell for Lana Simoneaux Zirlott, 47, a native of Opelousas and resident of Charenton, who passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012, at her home.

Pastor Lee Higgins will officiate the service.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Walter James Zirlott of Charenton; three sons, Seth Zirlott and his wife, Amanda, of New Iberia; Zack Zirlott and Zeb Zirlott, both of Charenton; three brothers, Harry “Mingo” Simoneaux of Charenton; David Simoneaux and his wife, Sue, of Jeanerette; and Millard Simoneaux of Franklin; four sisters, Lillian Haydel and her husband, Bubbie; Vivian Comeaux, Carolyn Hebert and her husband, Humphrey, and Melinda Broussard and her husband, Jack, all of Franklin; one grandson, Drew Michael Zirlott of New Iberia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Joseph Simoneaux; and her mother, Lillian Guillotte Simoneaux.

In lieu flowers the family asks that donations be made to help alleviate funeral expenses.
