St. Mary Parish Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning.

Preston Harold Duprie, 25, of 903 First St., No. 3, Patterson, was arrested Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. on a warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks. He was released on a summons.

Jennifer Loranzo, 34, and Sara Ramirez, 30, both of Bayou L’Ourse, were arrested Wednesday at 12:40 p.m. on charges of theft. Both were released on bonds of $1,000.

Gregory S. Payne, 37, of 151 Oregon St., Berwick, was arrested Wednesday at 10:22 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.

The sheriff’s office narcotics division reported the arrest of Ronald Billiot Jr., 30, of 1721 River Road, No. 18, Berwick, Wednesday at 6:12 p.m. on a charge of second offense possession of marijuana. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Alfred Collins Jr., 20, of Barrow Street, Franklin, Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. on a Lafayette Parish warrant charging him with simple burglary of a vehicle. He was released to Lafayette authorities.

David Joseph Hayes, 26, of Pine Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 1:18 p.m. on charges of possession of Schedule IV narcotics and illegal use of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile, as well as warrants charging him with three counts of failure to appear. No bond was set.

Samantha Michelle Geer, 28, of La. 182, Centerville, was arrested Wednesday at 4:57 p.m. on charges of DWI, reckless operation, possession of marijuana, two counts of child desertion, two counts of cruelty to juveniles, open alcohol container, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor, two counts of child restraint violation, possession of Schedule III narcotics with intent to distribute and possession of Schedule IV narcotics with intent to distribute. No bond was set.

A 12-year-old female was charged Wednesday with ungovernable juvenile.

A 12-year-old male was charged Wednesday with simple battery.

Both were released to guardians pending juvenile court.
