Kenneth Pledger, 46, a resident and native of Houma, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in Houma.

Kenneth was a member of the following Civic Organizations: Blaine C. Clay Lodge #14 of Houma; Samuel Wright Chapter #40 Holy Arch; Lawrence Ketchens #18 Knights Templar; John Parsons Consistory #170; 32 Degree of Morgan City; Platta Temple #15 Shriner, New Orleans; and United Supreme Counsel, A.A.S.R 33 degree of Washington, D.C.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28, at Residence Baptist Church in Houma, from 8 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery in Houma.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Emma Bonvillain and Warb (Oceola) Pledger; three sons, Darnell Pledger, Storm Pledger and Kensley Calloway; six daughters, Rachael Robinson, Keira Johnson, Ivana Pledger, Kiersten Pledger, Mackenzie Pledger and Jilaceah Henry; three brothers, Rev. Irving (Erica) Scoby Sr. of Providence Rhode Island, Brien (Cheryl) Pledger of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Enoch (Tonya) Pledger III of Houma; and one sister, Lisa (James) King; and a host of relatives.
