ALEXANDRIA – A former medical lab manager who stole $350,000 from a group of doctors will spend 27 months in federal prison and has to repay the money.

Linda Deselle, 59, was sentenced Wednesday. She stole the money from t Alexandria Pathology Laboratory over a 4½-year period.

Judge Dee Drell said that in the months leading to the sentencing Wednesday, Deselle cashed some $87,000 in retirement accounts that she spent on herself or gave to her children. Drell said the money could have gone toward paying restitution.
