Sheriff reports Morgan City woman drug paraphernalia arrest

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office reports the following arrest, according to Sheriff Mark Hebert:

—Susette Marie Fatheree, 37, of Eighth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 6:43 p.m. Thursday at the Bayou Vista Walmart on warrants for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia and disobeying a traffic light and a warrant for parole violation. She remains jailed with no bail set.

The Morgan City Police Department reported the following arrests, according to Assistant Chief Glenn Blanco:

—David Thompson, 46, of La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested at 8:40 a.m. Thursday and charged with theft by shoplifting. Officers were called to Family Dollar store in regards to a shoplifter. Witnesses had advised that Thompson had been on the deodorant aisle and had AXE deodorant in his hand, then left the store without paying for it, the report stated. He remains jailed with a $492 bail.

—Joquisha Mingo, 26, of 11th Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 6:42 p.m. Thursday on warrants for probation violation and failure to appear on a charge of simple battery. She was arrested in the area of the Ride Shell Station. She remains jailed with a $692 bail.
