Jeffery P. Adams, 49, of 500 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, was arrested Monday at 12:53 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. He was released on $500 bond.
David Joseph Portier, 31, of 247 North Vivian St., Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 1:56 p.m. on warrants charging him with unauthorized use of an access card and issuing worthless checks. No bond was set.
Aaron Johnson, 26, of 1307 Third St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 9:26 p.m. on a warrant charging him with criminal neglect of family. He was held on $1,830 bond.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported the arrest of Ronald Winslow Jr., 22, of 1034 Ciro St., Siracusaville, Monday on warrants charging him with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, violation of a drug-free zone, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and resisting an officer by flight.
