BAYOU VISTA GARDEN Club kicked off its 2012-13 season
with a meeting Sept. 10 at Bayou Vista Community

2012-13 season on Sept. 10 at
Bayou Vista Community Center.
Club yearbooks were distributed
to members. Donna
Bucci, vice president and program
chairman, previewed upcoming
programs and tours.
Members also planned for
the club’s Trash to Treasure
and Plant Sale to be held from
7 to 11 a.m. Sept 22 at BVCC on
Belleview Street.
Hostesses for the meeting
were Nancy Marcel, Sandra
Blanco and Jerri Guillot. The
floral design created by Sandra
Blanco was titled “Football Season.”
Included in the design
were chrysanthemums and
mother-in-law tongue (Sansevieria
Ruscaceae) which were
sculpted to resemble sports
pendants.
Door prize winner was Della
Topham.
The next BVGC meeting is at
6:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at BVCC.
