A Franklin man is in jail this morning after making at least two false reports to police, among other charges.

Franklin Police report that Jonah Thomas Madison, 18, of Clark Street, was arrested Tuesday at 3:10 p.m.

He was charged with Sept. 22 warrants that accuse him of terrorizing and criminal mischief when he allegedly falsely reported a shooting of two persons to Franklin police.

Then on Tuesday, police say Madison went to Franklin Junior High School, requested his grades transcript and identified himself as a firefighter.

Not long after that, at about 1:32 p.m., he reportedly called in a bomb threat to the school.

Madison was charged with communicating false information of a planned bombing on school property, terrorizing, criminal mischief and fraudulent impersonation of a law enforcement officer or firefighter.

No bond was set.
