Calvin Brown Jr., 80, a native of Franklin and a resident of Shreveport, died September 7, 2012.
A memorial service was held in Shreveport September 15, and in Los Angeles, California Sept. 22.
He leaves behind his wife, Karen Brown; 10 children, Shirley (Gene) Bogan of Houston, Texas, Lilly Darby-Porter of Verdunville, Calvin Brown III, Kimmy Ray Brown, Lana (Robert) Pollard, Jason (Nichole) Brown, all of Shreveport, Sandra Diane Davis and Cindy (Davis) Howard of Franklin, Tracey (Quintin) McMichael and Holly (Anthony) Smith of Los Angeles; 88 plus grand, great and great great grandchildren; four brothers, Louis, Harold, James of California, and Gabriel of New Mexico; and two sisters, Audrey of California and Carilyn Brown of Franklin.
