Mattie Louise Johnson was crowned Ms. Maison Jardin 2012 during a recent pageant held at the assisted living facility. Judges were Angela Smith of Patterson Healthcare Center, Sabrina Roy of Teche Regional Medical Center, Christal Carter of St. Mary Chamber of Commerce, and Miss Teen Lake Palourde Olivia Thibodeaux. Martha Businelle donated time to do hair and make-up for the event.
