St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

A juvenile female, age 15, was arrested Monday at 12:19 p.m. on a charge of battery on a police officer. She was released to a guardian pending juvenile court.

Cody Thibodeaux, 22, of 2994 Fourth St., Berwick, was arrested Monday at 3:02 p.m. on a charge of simple criminal damage to property. No bond was set.

Richard Brinlee, 58, of 1901 Trina St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 4:48 p.m. on a charge of leash law violation. He was released on a summons.

A juvenile male, age 15, was arrested Monday at 8:04 p.m. on a charge of theft. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported four arrests after a traffic stop Monday.

Jaime Boudreaux Lee, 34, of 216 Clausen Road, Verdunville, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. on a charge of obstruction of justice.

Jasper Maurice Minor, 19, of 3118 Sixth St., Berwick, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. on a charge of obstruction of justice.

Anthony Charles Watts, 36, of 216 Clausen Road, Verdunville, was charged at 9:48 p.m. with obstruction of justice, failure to signal and child restraint violation.

Jerald Stansbury, 35, of 216 Clausen Road, Verdunville, was charged at 9:48 p.m. with resisting by flight, failure to signal, driving under suspension, second-offense possession of marijuana and obstruction of justice, as well as warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of driving under suspension, license plate light violation and simple battery.

The vehicle was pulled over in Bayou Vista when the driver, Stansbury failed to signal a turn.

Stansbury fled on foot but deputies lost sight of him. A bag of marijuana was reportedly located in the area where he fled.

Agents noticed a vehicle driving around that same area and made a second traffic stop. That vehicle was driven by Watts, and there were three children in the vehicle, none reportedly properly restrained. Stansbury was reportedly hiding on the floorboard under the legs of the minors.

No bonds were set.
