Mr. Patrick Henry “C-La” Colar, 51, a resident and native of Ashton, died September 28, 2012, at 12:16 a.m., at his residence following a short illness.

He is survived by his father, Henry Colar of Ashton; one son, Jemiyi Navy of Atlanta, Georgia; one daughter, Keianna Gray of Patterson; one brother, Carroll Colar of Breaux Bridge; four sisters, Sandra Collins and husband, John; Janice Carr and husband, Foda, all of Sugar Land, Texas; Maggie Colar Hobbs of Houston, Texas; and Cynthia August and husband, Rev. Terrence, of Franklinton, La.; and one grandchild.

Mr. Colar was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitations will be observed Thursday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at West St. Mary Civic Center in Sorrell.

Burial rites will be read Thursday, at 11 a.m., at the civic center, with the Rev. Terrence S. August officiating. Interment will follow in the Sorrell Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
