Rummage sale

At Calumet Baptist Church, U.S. 90, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 5 and 6. Proceeds benefit youth group. Items include clothes, Christmas decorations, household items and more. Also selling hot dogs with a bag of chips and a drink.

Halloween bash

Gloria Roy Relay for Life Team second Annual Halloween Costume Party 5-9 p.m. Oct. 20, at Berwick Civic Complex for grades 4 to 6. Students must be picked up by 9:30 p.m. Cost: $20, each student receives a goody bag and T-shirt. Costumes not mandatory. Prizes awarded to top three costumes.
