PATTERSON — The Patterson Lumberjills defeated Covenant Christian 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-11) Monday.

Caitlyn Fontenot led the ’Jills with three points, an ace and six kills, while Carissa Fontenot added six points, three aces and five assists. Other Lumberjills’ contributors included Kailyn Johnson, five points and an ace, dig and kill apiece; Rebecca Taylor, four points, two aces and a dig and kill apiece; and Courtnie Boudreaux, three points, aces and digs each as well as two blocks.

With the win, the ’Jills improve to 10-8 overall.

They will resume district play Thursday when they host Franklin High.
