Two vehicles were involved in an accident about 10 a.m. Thursday on U.S. 90 in Ricohoc. Extrication by the Franklin Fire Department was required, but no injuries to the occupants were reported, Tfc. Stephen Hammons, Louisiana State Police spokesman said. Natalie Heming, 37, of Houma, driving the 2011 Honda Pilot, was cited for careless operation. John Sylvester, 50, of Port Barre, driving a 2002 Mazda B3000, was cited for improper lane use.
