PATTERSON — The Patterson High School Lumberjills swept Franklin High School 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-13) in district action Thursday.
Carissa Fontenot served eight points and recorded seven aces and 10 assists in the win, while Kailyn Johnson served a point and also recorded two aces and eight kills. Other top Lumberjills’ contributors included Rebecca Taylor, seven points, six aces and a dig and a kill; Caitlyn Fontenot, three aces and seven kills; and Courtnie Boudreaux, two points and kills apiece and a block.
Patterson will return to action Tuesday when it travels to Vanderbilt Catholic for a district contest. Junior varsity action will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by varsity play.
