A private memorial service will be held at a later date for Mr. Robert “Bob” Joseph Sherman, 80, a native of Chandler, Oklahoma and a longtime resident of Bayou Sale, who passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012, at 3:15 p.m., at the Franklin Health Care Center. The Rev. Clyde Crappell will officiate the service.

Survivors include two daughters, Stacey S. Guillory and her husband, Lawrence, of Centerville, and Theri Jo S. Candella and her husband, Rhett, of Garden City; one brother, William “Billy” Sherman of Aransas Pass, Texas; one sister, Dorothy S. Ramsey of Victoria, Texas; four grandchildren, Morgan and Sarra Guillory of Centerville, and Cole and Rylie Candella of Garden City; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Theriot Sherman; two sons, Joseph Bradley Sherman (infant) and Robert A. Sherman; and his parents, William Ambler Sherman and Goldie Gladys Wilkerson Sherman.
