Community Foundation of Acadiana’s second annual Leaders in Philanthropy Awards Luncheon is set for Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Cajundone Convention Center in Lafayette.

CFA will present a Leader in Philanthropy Award to outstanding philanthropists in each of its eight parish service-areas who have created an impact in their communities.

R.E. “Bob” Miller of St. Mary Parish is among the honorees.

Among many contributions, he has generously established a scholarship fund for the honors program at Nicholls State University.
