Representatives from the Franklin Republican Women, a chapter of the National Federation of Republican Women, recently donated five books to the West End Branch library in Baldwin. The NFRW Literary Committee regularly donates books to the St. Mary Parish Library system. This year, the group donated Glen Beck’s recent book, Being George Washington and the recently reissued four-book series Adventures in the American Revolution by Susan Olasky: Annie Henry and the Secret Mission, Annie Henry and the Birth of Liberty, Annie Henry and the Mysterious Stranger, and Annie Henry and the Redcoats. From left are Charline, McJimsey, Patsy Metz, West End Branch manager Connie Durocher, Sandra Roberie and Colleen Kahn.
