Mr. Junius Washington III, 59, a resident and native of Patterson, died Monday, November 5, 2012, at 12:40 a.m., at his residence following a short illness.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Amanda Joyce Ladday Washington of Patterson; three sons, Nicolas Junius Washington Sr. and wife, Ataisha, of Bedford, Texas; Asrhine Junius Washington of Lewisville, Texas; and D Andre Antone Richard of Patterson; one daughter, Devan Chivon Washington of Patterson; three brothers, Alvin Washington, Julian Washington and Melvin Washington of Patterson; one sister, Joyce Williams of Patterson; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Washington was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Visitations will be observed Friday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Otis Mortuary Chapel. Burial rites will be read Friday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. Keith Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Shields Cemetery in Patterson.
