—Juvenile male, 16, Wednesday at 5:22 p.m. in Amelia for simple battery. A deputy learned that the 16-year-old juvenile attempted to engage in a verbal argument with another juvenile. When the male victim refused to become involved, the juvenile punched the victim multiple times. The 16-year-old was released to a guardian.
The Morgan City, Berwick and Patterson police departments reported no arrests.
