Clara Mae Griffin-Jones, 80, a native and a resident of Patterson, died Friday, November 9, 2012, at 2:40 a.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 17 at Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Patterson Memorial Cemetery.

Clara leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Raymond Jones and Randy Jones, both of Patterson, and Ronnie Jones of Deridder; five daughters, Lorenza Thomas, Belinda Marie Jones, Mary Ann Jones, Stephanie Gail Jones and Rose Mary Johnson, all of Patterson; five sisters, Josie Engleton of Berwick, Dorothy Gray and Muriel Johnson, both of Patterson, Daisy Griffin and Sallie Graves, both of Houston, Texas; four brothers, Frank Griffin Sr., Joseph Griffin and James Griffin, all of Patterson, Jessie Griffin Sr. of Bayou Vista and Charles Griffin of Columbus, Texas; 22 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and a sister.
