Carl “CJ” Richard Jr., 18, a native and resident of New Iberia, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Lafayette General at 8:30 a.m.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Rosary reciting at 7 p.m. Visitation Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Fletcher Funeral Home at 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Funeral service will be at St. Edwards Catholic Church in New Iberia at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Hope Cemetery in Jeanerette.

CJ leaves to remember and cherish his memories his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Carl Richard Sr. (Carl and Ava); two sisters, Angela and A’Caila Richard; two nieces; one godchild, all of New Iberia; his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Milton Joseph Jr. of Jeanerette; and his godparents; also leaves Javonna and John Walker Sr. of Savannah, Georgia, his biological grandparents; and a host of other relatives and many special friends.

CJ was preceded in death by his great grandparents, grandparents, uncles, one aunt and cousins.
