Congressman Jeff Landry, (R-New Iberia incumbent 3rd Congressional District candidate), was presented with the “Friend of Farm Bureau Award” by the St. Mary Parish Farm Service Agency at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse Monday. Landry fought to ensure that the St. Mary FSA facility continued to serve local farmers when it was initially scheduled for closure by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
