Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary for Mrs. Sherry Ann Cook Boudreaux, 64, a native of Bethesda, Maryland and longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at 11:10 a.m. at the Franklin Foundation Hospital. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Kirby J. Boudreaux of Franklin; three children, Travis J. Boudreaux and his wife Kimberly McBride Boudreaux of Franklin, Tiffany B. Verret and her husband Patrick of Jeanerette, and Tammie M. Boudreaux of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Cody and his wife Ashley, Cory, Courtney, Ashton, Hannah, Morgan, and Hunter; one great grandchild, Addyson; and one step-brother, Bobby Joe Gibson of Baldwin.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Millie Louise Gibson; step-father Willie Gibson; her father, Donald Cook; one sister, Connie Lange; and one brother, William Steve Gibson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at Ibert’s Mortuary from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Travis J. Boudreaux, Patrick Verret, Cody J. Boudreaux, Hunter Boudreaux, Cory Boudreaux, Aaron Lange and Jimmy Billiot.
