Mrs. Hazel Victor Milton, 57, a resident and native of Franklin, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 6:17 a.m., at Ochsner Medical Hospital in Jefferson, La., following a short illness.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Milton Jr.; one son, Joseph Milton III of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Felicia Milton of Lafayette; two brothers, Dave Dugas and Floyd Jones of Franklin; five sisters, Katy Mouton of Four Corners, Mammie Jones, Marjorie Hart, Doris Lumpkin and Patricia Ann Milton of Franklin; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Milton was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
