Hanson Memorial’s Katie Sonnier guards against an inbound pass in an early contest. The annual Hanson Holiday Classic will open play on Wednesday at the Billy Gene Talbot Gymnasium.
In the Wednesday’s opening round of the tourney, the Franklin Hornets will tip off against the Delcambre Panthers at 4:30 p.m. The Kaplan Pirates will battle the West St. Mary Wolfpack at 6 p.m. prior to the Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers taking on the Patterson Lady Jills at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday’s action opens with the West St. Mary Lady Wolfpack tipping off against the Franklin Lady Hornets at 4:30 p.m. The E. D. White Lady Cardinals will battle the Teurlings Lady Rebels at 6 p.m. Thursday’s nightcap will pit the Franklin Hornets against the West St. Mary Wolfpack at 7:30 p.m.
Friday’s lineup will include the winner of the E. D. White Lady Cardinals-Teurlings Lady Rebels contest against the survivor of the West St. Mary Lady Wolfpack-Franklin Lady Hornets contest at 4:30 p.m. Friday’s second game will have the Hanson Memorial Tigers taking on the Delcambre Panthers at 6 p.m.
A full slate of games will be played on Saturday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday’s action will continue with games set for 11 a.m. through 5 p.m with the Girls Championship contest set for 3:30 p.m.
The 2012 annual Hanson Memorial Holiday Tournament will be played on Wednesday through Saturday at the Billy Gene Talbot Gymnasium.
