Leslie W. Knighten, 57, of 706 Iberia St., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 11:10 a.m. on warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks. He was released on a summons.
A juvenile male, age 14, was arrested Wednesday at 3:46 p.m. at Patterson High School on a charge of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Fred Lamar Williams, 25, of 635 Eighth St., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:58 p.m. on charges of simple obstruction of a highway and no driver’s license. He was released on a summons.
Anthony Jackson, 20, of 411 Carol Road, Bayou Vista, and Harley Burns, 19, of 411A Carol Road, Bayou Vista, were arrested Wednesday at 11:06 p.m. on charges of unauthorized use of an access card. No bonds were set.
Jonah Madison, 18, of 403 Clark Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 11:50 a.m. on a charge of battery on a correctional enforcement employee. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Nettie M. Willis, 22, of Canal Drive, Franklin, Wednesday at 4:41 p.m. on a charge of theft under $300. She was released on $1,000 bond.
Robert Henry, 57, of Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 10:41 p.m. on a charge of theft under $300. He was held on $1,000 bond.
Robert Matthews Jr., 23, of Hamilton Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 10:54 p.m. on a charge of theft under $300. He was released on $1,000 bond.
Jeremiah Jermain Smith, 20, of Trowbridge Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 11:27 p.m. on a charge of theft under $300. He was held on $1,000 bond.
Clarence Dion Rudolph, 26, of Gumpoint Lane, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 11:56 p.m. on a charge of theft under $300. He was held on $1,000 bond.
The arrests were the result of an investigation into alleged employee thefts at a local business.
