James Johnson Sr., 61, a native of Four Corners and resident of Franklin, died Sunday, December 9, 2012, at 8:50 p.m., at Franklin Health Care.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 15 at Nazarene Baptist Church in Verdunville, from 8 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

James leaves to cherish his memories three sons, James Johnson Jr. and Antione Johnson of Franklin, and Shon and his wife, Gitano Johnson, of Thibodaux; one daughter, Angella M. Johnson of Franklin; one brother, Raymond Johnson of Jeanerette; three sisters, Idella Fontenot of Verdunville, Florence Jackson of Franklin and Joann Jackson of Jeanerette; 11 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Victoria Johnson.
