Mickel Joe, 53, a resident and native of Jeanerette, died Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 11 p.m., at Iberia Medical Center.

Visitation was Saturday, Dec. 22 at Jones Funeral Home in Jeanerette, from 9 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Times Cemetery in Jeanerette.

Mickel leaves to cherish her memories one son, Ja’Michael Joe of Jeanerette; his companion, Dora Sutton of Jeanerette; eight brother, Ervin Joe, Bobby Joe, Troy Ned, Kevin Brown (Vondel), Paul Stafford Brown (Donieka), Danny Miller (Eileen), Kirt Miller (Lisa), Stephen Miller and David Miller (Viola); five sisters, Veronica Ned, Danyell Brown (Reginald) Lisa Miller (William), Charlene Provost (Robert) and Frieda Miller, all of Jeanerette; and a host of relatives and friends.
