Donations for Morgan City High School’s volleyball Paint the Pit Pink fund were made by Wyandotte Elementary’s 4-H Club, top, and Berwick and Patterson Junior High schools earlier this semester. The money, through Miles Perret Cancer Services/Sally Astor Burdine Foundation in partnership with Oncologoics, will be used to help fight breast cancer in St. Mary Parish. Wyandotte Elementary raised $191 through a pink lemonade and cookie sale, while in the bottom photo, Berwick and Patterson Junior High schools also raised $771 through a jean day, among other ways.
