Franklin Lady Hornets fall to North Vermilion

Franklin’s Lady Hornets dropped their second league game in a row after falling to the North Vermilion Lady Patriots 60-36 in District 9-3A action Wednesday at the FSHS Gym.

Quanta Jones led Franklin in scoring with 22 points on one trey, six deuces and 7 of 9 free throws.

Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Hornets were: Chardonaye Parker, 4; Fabian Small, 3; Wyneshia Jenkins, 3; Sayde Payne, 2 and Faith Lyons, 2.

Franklin will host the Jeanerette Lady Tigers on Friday in non-district action.
