LAFAYETTE – Services for former ULL dean of student life Mary Olive McPhaul are pending. She died Jan. 8.
Prior to joining UL Lafayette in 1957 as associate dean of women she taught in public schools in Alabama and at Samford University and was a resident counselor at Florida State. She was dean of student life at ULL for more than a decade, after being dean of women and coordinator and administrator of the department of student personnel.
