He is survived by his mother, Emelda Ackman Blanchard; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Blanchard Hebert and Glenn; sons and daughters-in-law, Timmy Paul Blanchard and Robin, Tony Joseph Blanchard and Rozaline; sisters, Joyce Blanchard Melancon; brothers, Morris Adam Blanchard, Denray Paul Blanchard; and grandchildren, Brittany Hebert Sedotal, Trey Micheal Blanchard, Taylor Jon Blanchard, Brooke Olivia Hebert, Hallie Ronell Blanchard, Robert Joseph Blanchard, and Remmy Paul Blanchard.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joe Ann Richard Blanchard; daughter, Ronell Marie Blanchard; and father, Harry Blanchard.
Visitation was held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part Sunday from 5:30 until 10 p.m. Visitation resumed today from 8 to 11 a.m. Religious services were held at Church of God of Prophecy in Belle River. Interment was in the church cemetery.
