Jim and Verdie Aloisio of Bayou Vista celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 22 with family and friends. The couple was married Dec. 22, 1962, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. They are the parents of Amico Aloisio of Morgan City, Minette Hebert of Kaplan, Sue Robicheaux of Lafayette and Gordan Aloisio of New Iberia. They also have seven grandchildren.
