St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

James Smith, 38, of 400 Darlene St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 9:36 a.m. on a warrant charging him with theft. He was held on $1,000 bond.

Isaac Matthew Martinez, 31, of 113 Martin Luther King Blvd., Baldwin, was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with sexual battery after a complaint of a rape at a residence in the Yokely Road area. He was held on $20,000 bond.

Derrian M. Barron, 19, of Houma, was arrested Monday at 3:17 p.m. on a charge of theft. He was released on a summons.

Cody W. White, 29, of 529 Mike Drive, Patterson, was arrested Monday at 8:08 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. He was held on $500 bond.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported the arrest of Rachel Fabre, 27, of Solar Apartments, No. 15, Morgan City, Monday at 12:30 p.m. on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of a Schedule IV narcotic with intent to distribute, abuse of toxic vapors and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Also arrested was Ricky Morse Jr., same address, on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a Schedule IV narcotic, keeping a disorderly place, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Denise Aucoin, 32, of 210 Mars Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested at the same time on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana and abuse of toxic vapors.

An investigation at the Solar Apartments address led to the arrests. No bonds were set on Morse and Fabre, and Aucoin was released on a summons.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Alfred J. Hill Jr., 27, of Wilfred Street, Franklin, Monday at 8:51 a.m. on warrants charging him with possession of a firearm with obliterated serial numbers and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.

Paul Edward Burgess, 51, of Sanders Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 8:52 a.m. on warrants charging him with possession of a firearm with obliterated serial numbers and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Rebecca Bacas, 37, of New Iberia, Monday at 10 p.m. by Lafayette police on charges of issuing worthless checks. No bond was set.
