The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of an unresponsive subject in a room at the Plantation Inn in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival deputies located an unresponsive male subject.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Mary Parish coroner.
A co-worker made the 911 call when the man failed to answer the door for the morning call to go to work. No foul play is suspected at this time. The investigation is ongoing pending the outcome of the coroner’s autopsy report, the release stated.
