St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Deborah Broussard Jones, 54, of 736 Chetta Lane, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 8:32 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.

Albert J. Vaughn, 78, of 816 Utah St., Berwick, was arrested Tuesday at 10:05 a.m. on a warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks. He was released on a summons.

Nicole Swackhammer, 27, of 539 Arlington St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Tuesday at 1:44 a.m. on a warrant charging her with child desertion. No bond was set.

Jadi Guerrero, no age given, of 204 Neptune St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Tuesday at 3:37 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on charges of disobeying a traffic light and no child restraint. She was released on $344 bond.

Aketa Francis, 20, of 301 Egle St., Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 6:07 p.m. on Morgan City warrants charging her with failure to appear on a charge of simple battery. No bond was set.

Kennedyetta Dazi Johnson, 29, of 508 Sixth St., Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:34 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on warrants charging her with issuing worthless checks and failure to appear on issuing worthless checks charges. She was released on $1,000 bond.

Sau Van Nguyen, 54, of 812 Magnolia St., Amelia, was arrested Tuesday at 11:10 p.m. on charges of second-offense DWI, failure to signal, improper lane usage and driving under suspension. No bond was set.

Rigoberto Barrios Cruz, 27, of 145 Odile Lane, Amelia, was arrested Tuesday at 11:18 p.m. on a charge of driving without a legal presence in the country. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Ashley Renee Darby, 24, of Ibert Street, Franklin, Tuesday at 10:34 a.m. on a warrant charging her with probation violation. No bond was set.

Two females, both 12 years old, were charged Tuesday with disturbing the peace by fighting and released to guardians pending juvenile court.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Wilbert Thibodeaux, 48, of Charenton, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. No bond was set.
