CCHS tops Hanson

Rhandi Brown tossed in a game-high 16 points, leading the Central Catholic of Morgan City Lady Eagles to a 46-29 District 8-A win over the Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers Tuesday at the Billy Gene Talbot Gym.

Emily Sonnier led the Hanson Lady Tigers in scoring with 10 points on five field goals.

Rounding out the scoring of the Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers were: Brittany Broussard, 6; Kim Sonnier, 5; Katie Sonnier, 3; Haley Bollinger, 3, and Macie Guillotte, 2.

Hanson Memorial (13-10, 1-2) will play host to Gueydan on Friday in league play.
