HOUSTON — Stephen Graham recently was named the new executive director of the Offshore Technology Conference.

His appointment was approved by the board of directors at its meeting Jan. 12. In this role, Graham will support the board and lead management of all conference events in Houston, Brazil and Asia. Prior to this appointment, he served as organization’s managing director for 10 years.

OTC is the premier forum for sharing technical knowledge and innovation within the global offshore industry, according to Steve Balint, board chairman. “OTC’s scope and reach have burgeoned under Stephen’s leadership. This new role acknowledges his dedication and accomplishments,” Balint said.

“I welcome this new opportunity and look forward to working with the board to expand our commitment to the global offshore industry,” Graham said.

“OTC’s prominence is the result of a collaborative effort among thousands of volunteers, exhibitors, conference attendees and support services. This same model will serve as the basis for success in OTC’s new events in Brazil, Asia and the Arctic,” he added.
