After 40 years of service, Jimmy O. Johnson, right, of Morgan City has retired from M C Bank. Johnson began his employment with Morgan City Bank in 1973 as one of the main office couriers. In 1997, he became the Colonial Plaza branch courier. Besides his responsibilities with M C Bank, Johnson coordinated and pursued a number of community projects in the Tri-City area, several of which he received awards and notoriety. Congratulating Johnson is Larry Callais, bank chief executive officer, at a social held Jan. 11 for Johnson at the M C Bank in Morgan City.
