Hattie Ruffin, 75, a resident of Franklin, and a native of Oaklawn, La., died Friday, January 18, 2013 at 12:18 a.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Franklin.

Hattie leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, Ray Jackson of Baldwin and Alvin Jackson of Franklin; three daughters, Valerie Jackson Tobias of Sacramento, California, Avis Jackson Hawkins of Franklin and Lisa Jackson Dumas of Houston, Texas; one brother, Leonard Jackson of Oakland, California; and one sister, Betty Jackson Alexander of Franklin; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Hattie was preceded in death by her parents.
