Ernie Soto, 51, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at his home.
Ernie was born May 16, 1961, in Los Angeles, the son of Frank and Esther Ramirez Soto.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Esther Soto of Morgan City; 12 brothers and sisters, Frank Soto of Morgan City, Connie Chavez of Phoenix, Joseph Soto of Morgan City, Virginia Mason of Orange County, Calif., Louie Soto of Bayou L’Ourse, Jenny Soto of Orange County, Calif., Esther Soto of Phoenix., Albert Soto of Morgan City, Fernando Soto of Morgan City, Lupe Soto of Morgan City, Edward Soto of Morgan City and Sandra Soto of Orange County, Calif.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ernie was preceded in death by his father, Frank Soto.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Twin City Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
