St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Kayla Morin, 23, of 2721 Shaw Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 10:14 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a charge of issuing worthless checks. She was released on $750 bond.

Duane Roy Jr., 23, of 333 Tiffany St., Patterson, was arrested Friday at 1:05 p.m. on charges of no driver’s license, open alcohol container and littering. He was released on a summons.

Brittney Nicole Williams, 23, of 716 Duval St., Amelia, was arrested Friday at 1 p.m. on a charge of obstruction of justice. She was released on a summons.

Vernon Joseph Robin Jr., 49, of 1422 Front St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 3:07 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to register as a sex offender. No bond was set.

Arthur Joseph Landry III, 29, of New Iberia, was arrested Friday on warrants charging him with nine counts of issuing worthless checks and an Iberia Parish warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of possession of cocaine. He was turned over to Iberia Parish authorities.

Rudolph Edwards, 59, of Siracusaville, was arrested Saturday at 4:44 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was held on $250 bond.

Mitchell Trahan, 45, and Stacey Trahan, 40, both of Youngsville, were arrested Saturday on charges of open alcohol container. Both were released on summonses.

Egbert Sonny Pennison, 35, of 926 Amelia Alley, Amelia, was arrested Sunday at 8:15 p.m. on charges of misrepresentation during booking and domestic abuse battery. He was held with no bond set.

Tiffany Watkins, 29, of 926 St. Marie Alley, Amelia, was arrested Sunday at 8:15 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.

Niecy Linn Martin, 30, of 221 Choctaw Drive, Charenton, was arrested today at 12:07 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. She was released on $,1,250 bond.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported the arrest of Kaisey Landry Pojar, 27, of 403 Bush St., Morgan City, Friday at 10:01 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and introduction of contraband into a jail. No bond was set.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Clara Linden, 53, of St. Martinville, Friday at 9 p.m. on a warrant charging her with simple battery. She was released on a summons.

David Frederick, 37, of Charenton, was arrested Sunday on charges of domestic abuse battery, simple assault, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Kenneth Frank Smith, 53, of Pine Street, Franklin, Thursday at 11:46 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of open alcohol container and disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was held on $322 bond.

Devone Antoine Peters, 27, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 3:35 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of theft by fraud and unauthorized use of a movable. No bond was set.

Larry Finister, 55, of Hamilton Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 7:05 p.m. on charges of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was held with no bond set.

Derrick Wayne Druilhet, 35, of John Street, Baldwin, was arrested Sunday at 2:07 a.m. on a charge of remaining where forbidden. He was released on $500 bond.

Kai Ramarre Wesley, 18, of 12th Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 4:31 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol. He was released on $2,250 bond.

Phillip John Comeaux, 41, of Main Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 3:39 a.m. on a charge of second-offense domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.

Two female juveniles, ages 14 and 15, were arrested Thursday on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. Both were released to guardians pending juvenile court.
